‘No fault’ divorce: couples unaware

Research conducted by law firm Moore Barlow has revealed 57 per cent of adults remain unaware of the introduction of ‘no fault’ divorce last year. 48 per cent said the cost-of-living crisis and increased debt had strained relationships, but only four per cent were considering divorce. Moore Barlow head of family law, Jo Farrands, said “most people either don’t know the law has changed or that there are less confrontational options than aggressive solicitors or the courts available to them”.
