Freshfields Elects Record Number of Partners

International law firm Freshfields has announced a record number of partnership appointments to take effect from 1 May 2000. Twenty one lawyers have been elected to partnership, a 62% increase on last year. With these partners, Freshfields have a total of 298 partners and 1200 other qualified lawyers on 1 May 2000.
