A young solicitor has died after being seriously injured with a gunshot wound in Sheffield

A young solicitor has died after being seriously injured with a gunshot wound in Sheffield on 10 April. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder. Khuram Javed, 30, who had young children, had worked at Sheffield-based Alison Law for four years, progressing from paralegal to qualified solicitor 18 months ago. The firm's chairman, Sir Habib Rahman, said members of the firm were “heartbroken at the loss of this young, talented and honourable man” and that they will “miss him dearly”.
