Uptick in contracts advice
Economic pressue means businesses are scrutinising contracts closely
London law firm Wildcat Law has said it is increasingly being approached about contract breach and interpretation of break clauses, which demonstrates growing distress in the economy. Tahina Akther, barrister and co-founder said this was “a clear sign” companies are struggling. She added: "We have also seen the number of legal challenges regarding so called penalty clauses increasing in an attempt to save money… companies that are feeling the strain often need to resort to litigation to protect their income or reduce their expenditure”.
