imanage and RealLegal have join forces to provide the legal community with practice management solutions. iManage provides e-business content and collaboration management software, and RealLegal, the applications division of Law.com, have announced that the Practice Manager solution from RealLegal will soon be integrated with the iManage WorkSite application suite to provide legal customers an integrated, web-based practice and document management solution. "This alliance brings together two critical areas of functionality for legal rofessionals," said Bill Feid, Law.com president and CEO. "With the integration of RealLegal Practice Manager, every iManage document will be tightly linked to every relevant case, client, and court date, improving efficiency and strengthening client communication and retention." John Kenyon, Vice President of Channels and Alliances for iManage said: "The 400+ law firms using the iManage WorkSite solution will soon have available an outstanding combination of functionality made possible by the integration of RealLegal with the iManage WorkSite application suite." Law.com will also provide a connector to its legal and editorial content as one of iManage's iConnect partners through the iManage WorkPortal application. The Law.com connector is expected to be available with iManage WorkPortal in the first quarter of 2002.

Eversheds has recently announced their 200th 'evershedsrecoveries.com' debt client. Its internet based debt collection service enables clients to monitor and participate in the management of their debts via a simple browser interface. www.evershedsrecoveries.com, based on Solicitec's SolCase & SolCase Online products, also allows the electronic transfer of data from clients' credit control systems directly into the debt collection application. These systems allow a high level of automation enabling Eversheds to handle a large caseload efficiently and at the same time offer a unique and personalised level of service.
