Steele Raymond strengthens teams with strategic hires, enhancing estate planning, tax, and property expertise for clients' benefit

Steele Raymond, a prominent regional law firm, continues its growth trajectory with the addition of four skilled professionals to its Commercial Property, Residential Development, Property Litigation, and Estate Planning and Tax teams.

Heading the fast-growing Estate Planning and Tax team is Kelly Greig, who welcomes solicitor Hok Yan (Erica) Leung from Laceys Solicitors. Leung, a dual-qualified solicitor in England & Wales and Hong Kong, brings extensive experience in estate planning and tax law, particularly in advising on company restructuring and exit strategies for directors and shareholders.

Re-joining the Property Litigation team as a senior associate is Lauren Meade, with 13 years of litigation experience, specialising in commercial landlord and tenant disputes. Meade's expertise includes lease renewals, dilapidations, recovery of rent arrears, and covenant disputes.

Solicitor Ash Scott joins the Residential Development team, led by Emma Stainwright, bringing her expertise in acquisitions, plot sales, lease negotiations, and developer representation. Ash, formerly of Laceys Solicitors, is an active committee member of the Bournemouth District Law Society and Bournemouth District Junior Lawyers Division.

In the award-winning Commercial Property team, Zara Sachak, a recently qualified chartered legal executive, joins under the leadership of Chris Twaits. Sachak has nine years of experience as a paralegal at Womble Bond Dickinson.

Jennifer Rogerson, the managing partner, expressed her delight in welcoming the new additions, emphasising the firm's commitment to providing top-notch legal advice and experience. She stated, "Ash, Erica, Lauren, and Sara’s experience and expertise will further strengthen the legal services we offer to our clients regionally, nationally, and internationally."

These strategic hires mark the latest chapter in Steele Raymond's impressive two-year growth journey. Notable additions in 2023 included Kelly Greig, chair of the global professional body STEP, leading the Estate Planning and Tax team, joined by senior associates Paula Arnold and Michelle Jenkins-Powell. Tim Higham, an experienced conveyancing partner, and Residential Development partners Paul Hinett and Emma Pope also joined, contributing to the firm's continued success.

With two additional partner promotions in 2023, Steele Raymond's partnership now stands at 25, reflecting the firm's commitment to excellence and its unwavering dedication to providing clients with unparalleled legal support.
