Slaughters launches part-time programmes
The firm is offering associates a range of part time working options
Slaughter and May has launched three part-time working schemes for associates. Under the first scheme, associates may reduce their hours by up to 20 per cent to allow them to take pre-booked blocks of leave. The second scheme commits associates to a transaction, but allows them a 20 per cent hours’ reduction or leave between projects. The third scheme permits two lawyers to cover one role. Each associate must work three days a week, with one day of overlap. Associates need not be the same level of seniority.
