Simplify legal group's new CEO wants 'first class services' from subsidiary QualitySolicitors

Appointment is part of group's growth strategy to become UK's largest legal provider
Former City solicitor, David Grossman, has been appointed to lead the development of the newly created Simplify Group, of which Quality Solicitors is a subsidiary.
The announcement follows the recent news of an investment by Palamon Capital Partners in the group of legal companies including conveyancing brands Move with Us, DC Law and probate specialist Chorus Law, as part of its strategy to build the UK's largest legal service provider.
The current management teams of Simplify Group and of QualitySolicitors will stay in place and report directly to Grossman.
Simplify Group's new CEO began his career as commercial and technology solicitor with City firm Berwin Leighton Paisner before moving to AOL as its head of business development.
Having climbed AOL's corporate ladder to become vice president of its strategic alliances group in Europe, Grossman moved to BT, eventually becoming the chief executive officer of its retail solutions division, BT Expedite.
Grossman said: "A major opportunity exists to build value based on the delivery of first class legal services which have customer experience and satisfaction at their core."
He continued: "I am looking forward to developing and integrating the group of companies, each of which is separately a leader in its area, and which together will become even stronger."
Daan Knottenbelt, a partner at Palamon Capital Partners commented: "We are delighted that David Grossman is bringing his experience and leadership to develop the new group, driving forward our vision for an innovative and significant player in the legal marketplace."
