Sandstone new Head of Wills, Trusts, and Probate
Senior Solicitor Safia Iftikhar to lead Wills, Trusts, and Probate in Manchester
Sandstone Legal, a prominent consumer and business services law firm, has bolstered its team with the appointment of Senior Solicitor Safia Iftikhar as the new Head of Wills, Trusts, and Probate. Based in Manchester, Safia brings extensive experience managing teams across the Northwest, specializing in private client legal services such as Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney, and Probate.
Safia's appointment follows Sandstone's recent growth, marked by the launch of Willfully—an innovative online platform allowing individuals to create a Will conveniently. Overseen by an SRA-regulated team and supported by expert solicitors, Willfully aims to alleviate anxieties about end-of-life planning and facilitates legacy donations to charity partners like the Alzheimer’s Society.
In her role, Safia will oversee a diverse team advising on emergency Will drafting, challenging Wills, executors and trustees, Lasting Power of Attorney, and contentious probate matters. Sandstone Legal, with offices in Lancaster, Liverpool, and Manchester, is committed to simplifying legal solutions and supporting employee career development.
Expressing her enthusiasm for joining Sandstone, Safia highlighted the firm's commitment to honesty, compassion, and leveraging technology to ease access to legal services. She looks forward to contributing to the ongoing success of the business.
Mohammed Esa, Sandstone's Legal Director, welcomed Safia to the team, emphasizing her experience and passion for client and team well-being. Safia's expertise is expected to enhance the Wills, Trusts, and Probate division, further solidifying Sandstone Legal's position in the legal landscape.
