UK government and CMA respond to Committee report

The House of Commons Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee has published responses from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to its October 2022 report on state aid and post-Brexit competition policy. In general, both sets of responses are supportive of the recommendations put forward in the Committee’s report. Notably, the CMA’s response confirms that it is currently working with international partners and multinational fora to explore the possibilities for improved cross-border arbitration.
