Acas has made recommendations about how to support employee mental health

New research commissioned by Acas, conducted by YouGov, has found 36 per cent of British employers have seen their mental health support improve since the pandemic. The poll found over a third of employers said it had got better; nine per cent said it had got worse; half reported it had stayed the same, and six per cent said they did not know. Acas advised employers to: be approachable and available; keep in regular contact; be understanding of changing staff needs; and address individual communication preferences.
