Regulator of Social Housing publishes latest financial trends report
The report shows that providers are facing substantial financial pressures
The UK Regulator of Social Housing published the results of its latest quarterly survey of registered providers’ financial health on 1 June, which finds that providers are facing substantial pressures and continue to operate within a very challenging and fast-moving economic environment. The report finds that high inflation, shortages in labour and materials, increasing borrowing costs, and higher spend on repairs and maintenance have continued to have impact on registered providers’ operating costs.
