ONS statistics revealed a jump in turnover in October
UK legal industry turnover jumped to £3.80bn in October 2021, up 10.7 per cent on September, according to Office of National Statistics data. October revenues were the second highest on record, up 10.8 per cent on October 2020. Julie Norris, regulatory partner, legal services, at Kingsley Napley warned: “The data… predates the advent of the Omicron variant, the implications of which are yet to be seen. Firm leaders should not allow these strong numbers to distract from the importance of supporting staff, clients, and communities at this uncertain time”.
