Lawyers who advised clients on NDAs prior to the #metoo movement may be at risk of having their actions retrospectively scrutinised through a post-#metoo lens, as regulators clampdown on use of the contracts. This month the Solicitors Regulation Authority has referred an Allen & Overy solicitor to the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal over an NDA relating to a member of Harvey Weinstein's staff. Zelda Perkins, who signed the agreement while working at Miramax, claims she was made to do so after she witnessed an alleged sexual assault. 3 April 2019
