A new mediation service to help neighbours resolve boundary disputes outside of the courts has been launched
A new boundary disputes mediation service to help neighbours resolve disputes outside of the courts has been launched by the Property Litigation Association and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The service’s panel includes mediators, lawyers and surveyors experienced in boundary and neighbour disputes. Neighbour disputes have increased during the pandemic as people have been confined to their homes. The new service, to be administered by the RICS, is supported by the Civil Justice Council which has issued guidance encouraging ADR.
