Mourant completes rebranding of its Luxembourg arm, marking growth and appoints Saniyé Tipirdamaz as partner

Mourant, the law firm-led professional service business, has successfully completed the rebranding of its Luxembourg arm, formerly known as LexField and FideField. The transition, effective from February 20, 2024, signifies a strategic move to provide clients with comprehensive legal, corporate, and entity management services from Luxembourg—a key player in the global financial landscape.

Having expanded into Luxembourg last year, Mourant integrated LexField and FideField into its global network, positioning itself to cater to the diverse needs of clients in one of the world's foremost international finance centers and the second-largest global funds center.

In a noteworthy development, Saniyé Tipirdamaz, who heads the Banking and Finance practice at the Luxembourg office, has been promoted to partner. Having joined Mourant in 2022, Saniyé brings extensive expertise in advising international financial institutions, corporate groups, and investment funds on various cross-border financings. Her specialization includes fund finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, as well as restructuring and insolvency matters.

Jonathan Rigby, the Global Managing Partner at Mourant, expressed his delight at welcoming Saniyé to the global partnership and announced the completion of the Luxembourg rebranding. Rigby emphasized the significance of these milestones in the growth and development of Mourant Luxembourg.

Pierre-Yves Magerotte and Aldric Grosjean, Partners at Mourant Luxembourg, shared their enthusiasm for the expansion of the team with Saniyé's promotion. They anticipate her vital role in further developing the firm's banking and finance offerings. Magerotte and Grosjean hinted at an upcoming period of substantial investment, highlighting Mourant's commitment to expanding and enhancing its services in Luxembourg.

The rebranding and the appointment of Saniyé Tipirdamaz underscore Mourant's commitment to strengthening its presence in Luxembourg and offering clients a broader range of legal and financial services in the dynamic international financial landscape.
