Burges Salmon, an independent UK law firm, recently provided critical counsel to LIND Limited, a Scotland-based innovator in alternative battery storage systems. LIND successfully secured a substantial £900,000 seed investment from notable entities such as Green Angel Ventures, Scottish Enterprise, and the University of Strathclyde.

The investment is earmarked to fuel LIND's groundbreaking battery technology innovation and propel the commercialization of its pioneering solutions. Established in 2019 and headquartered in Kinross, near Edinburgh, LIND has engineered advanced battery storage systems that boast impressive longevity surpassing 20 years. The Edinburgh-based team at Burges Salmon, led by associate Niall Mackle and partner Danny Lee from the Corporate and M&A team, played a pivotal role in advising LIND throughout this transformative funding transaction.
