It goes without saying that the Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition government was not held in the highest of regards by some elements of the legal profession during the last five years. It was, therefore, unsurprising to see that the reaction on social media to the news that David Cameron's Tory party had obtained a shock majority in the general election was downbeat to say the least.
