KEY WORKERS

The Ministry of Justice clarified which lawyers are key workers whose children can continue attending school or nursery in the absence of alternative child-care. The category includes legal practitioners who are 'essential to the running of the justice system', particularly the courts and tribunals; and those necessary to support the administration of justice. It includes advocates required to appear before the court or tribunal, whether remotely or in person; duty solicitors; lawyers and paralegals working on imminent or ongoing court or tribunal hearings; solicitors acting for clients on wills execution and those advising people living in institutions or deprived of their liberty. 21 March
