Irwin Mitchell lawyer joins STEP committee

Irwin Mitchell’s head of Tax, Trusts and Estates in Manchester, Christine Thornley (pictured), has joined the Manchester Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) committee. STEP is the global professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning. Thornley joined Irwin Mitchell in September 2021. She is a long-standing STEP member, and the holder of the STEP Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes. Thornley said she was “honoured” to be selected for the role and that the opportunity to be on the committee was “really exciting”.
