Gender pay gap in law: 'still much more to be done'

The Law Society Group’s 2020 pay gap report has revealed an 11.8 per cent median and 13 per cent mean pay gap between women and men. The median bonus gap is 5.6 per cent, with a mean bonus gap of 24.1 per cent. A Law Society Group spokesperson said: “There is still much more to be done. The Law Society and SRA have targeted action plans in place to address this challenge and the Group is committed to being a fully inclusive workplace.”
