The Legal Services Board's report on standards of regulatory enforcement at the Bar Standards Board and Solicitors Regulation Authority gave both a stamp of approval at the end of last month. The end to end review found the regulators had met the six outcomes expected of them. It set out three new strategic priorities to be monitored over the coming year. They are, timeliness of enforcement processes, effective and consistent use of interim sanctions; and assurance of the quality of enforcement decisions by regulatory bodies. 22 March 2019
