A group represented by Hodge, Jones & Allen (HJA) and Matthew Ryder QC is considering a private prosecution of Dominic Cummings for breaching the covid-19 regulations. The group includes former regional crown prosecutor Nazir Afzal, health professionals, scientists and covid-19 survivors and their families. The group aims to persuade the police to 'properly' reinvestigate Cummings and prosecute him if there is evidence. HJA partner Mike Schwarz said they will also call for Durham Constabulary to explain its process/actions. 7 June 2020
