DLA Piper, has announced the appointment of The Rt. Hon Professor the Lord Blunkett to its Government Affairs team, reinforcing its commitment to providing clients with comprehensive strategic and political advice.

Lord Blunkett, a member of the House of Lords since 2015 and former MP, brings a wealth of political experience, having served as Education and Employment Secretary, Home Secretary, and Work and Pensions Secretary in Tony Blair's Cabinet. His unique perspective, coupled with his commitment to public policy, aligns seamlessly with DLA Piper's goal of incorporating diverse political voices into its advisory team.

DLA Piper's decision to appoint advisers from various political backgrounds underscores its dedication to offering clients a well-rounded understanding of government dynamics.
