PwC has awarded almost half (10 of 24) of its legal training contract roles this year to members of Aspiring Solicitors, an organisation founded in 2013 to increase access to and diversity in the legal profession. The individuals from minority or disadvantaged groups will attend law school, sponsored by PwC, followed by a two-year trainee programme in the business. PwC has seen an increase of 261 per cent in the number of graduate applications to its legal summer vacation scheme since partnering with Aspiring Solicitors last year. 29 Aug 2019
