Liverpool-based firm Legal Risk has suggested that personal injury law firms are some of the most at risk of running into penalties over General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) breaches. Writing about the likely effect of GDPR on the industry in the firm's newsletter, partner Frank Maher said: 'Personal injury firms are highly exposed through a combination of handling large volumes of medical records and, in many cases, a degree of complacency.'
