Crown Court guidance
The Law Society has welcomed the review of the guidance
The lord chief justice has issued national guidance on remote attendance by advocates in the Crown Court. Law Society president I. Stephanie Boyce said she hoped it would help provide consistency. She added: “We are pleased to see the guidance will be kept under regular review and that it recognises the importance of regular communication between the court and court users. Better communication from the court service about how a hearing is being conducted has been one of the main issues raised by our members which we are keen to see addressed.”
