The Conveyancing Foundation, a not-for-profit charity, has marked 2023 as a year of substantial progress and impactful initiatives
Having raised nearly £100,000, this charity continues its unwavering dedication to enhancing the wellbeing of individuals within the property sector, reinvesting every penny back into the conveyancing industry.

Triumph of the Charity Lotto Scheme: Making a Collective Impact
The Charity Lotto Scheme emerged as a driving force for collective philanthropy. This initiative provided a straightforward avenue for individuals and businesses to support charitable causes effortlessly. Participants championed their chosen charities by promoting the Charity Lotto to clients, who, upon contributing a £10 entry fee at the conclusion of their transaction, were entered into monthly and quarterly prize draws. Lucky winners had the chance to pocket £100 and £500 cash prizes.
Recognizing the impactful efforts of Charity Lotto Members in 2023, the Foundation acknowledges key contributors such as Convey Law, Direction Law, Wilson Nesbitt, BTMK Marcus Baum, and Sam Hawking Property Lawyers. The combined efforts resulted in an impressive total exceeding £73,000.

This initiative aimed to support individuals within the property sector hosting fundraising events by offering grants of up to £2000 for their chosen charities. Notable beneficiaries included Women in Residential Property, Aconveyancing, and Jessie Bishop, all recognized for their remarkable fundraising endeavors.
The Charity Grant Scheme will persist in 2024, remaining open to anyone in the property sector dedicated to raising funds for charitable causes.

The Foundation's accomplishments were significantly bolstered by its robust network of partners. With 13 key partners in 2023 and the addition of four new partners including Property Conveyancing Consultancy, Orion Legal Marketing, PEXA, and Cashroom, the Foundation fortified its collaborative efforts within the industry.

Plans for two more surveys in 2024, including the "Wellbeing at Work" survey in partnership with Morale Solutions, signify the Foundation's commitment to ongoing research and progress.
