Held at the historic Signet Library in central Edinburgh, the event was marked by a sense of pride and celebration as friends, family, and esteemed members of the legal community gathered to witness this significant milestone

Law Society President Sheila Webster presided over the ceremony, presenting each new solicitor with a certificate of enrolment, bearing the recently refreshed coat of arms of the Law Society. With excitement and anticipation, the names of the newly admitted solicitors were added to the roll of Scottish solicitors, symbolizing their official entry into the profession.

Addressing the gathering, both Sheila Webster and Law Society Chief Executive Diane McGiffen congratulated Scotland's newest solicitors, emphasizing their hard work, determination, and future contributions to the legal sector. The ceremony's guest speaker, The Rt Hon.
