Carey Olsen's James Noble achieves Full (TEP) Membership with STEP
Carey Olsen Singapore Partner James Noble has become a 'Full Member' (or TEP) of STEP (The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners)
By attaining the highest level of membership with STEP, James has earned international recognition as an expert in trusts and estates.
STEP is a global professional organisation comprising more than 21,000 professionals, including lawyers, accountants, trustees, and other practitioners who, as specialists in inheritance and succession planning, draft wills and trusts, administer estates, act as trustees and advise families on how best to structure their finances.
James commented: "I am delighted to have become a Full Member of STEP. This feels especially timely given the rise in popularity of trusts for clients in Asia. From a dispute resolution perspective, the anticipation and avoidance of common pitfalls which can lead to trust litigation is incredibly important. I am looking forward to continuing to engage with fellow professionals to exchange knowledge and build new business opportunities, and of course to help local clients with their trusts and estate matters."
James is listed as a Leading Individual in the Legal 500 Asia 2024 Guide and has recently been acknowledged as a top offshore lawyer in the 2023 Asian Legal Business (ALB) Offshore Client Choice List.
James' clients commend him as "Quite simply the best of the best…he possesses that rare combination in a team leader of great legal insight, great leadership skills and a frightening eye for detail. He also makes things happen – getting his clients from where they are to where they want to be", according to the Legal 500 Caribbean 2024.
