North West law firm, Butcher & Barlow, welcomes Paige Lester, Emelia Forde, Sophie Nicholson, and Grant Redburn as newly qualified solicitors

Butcher & Barlow, a leading law firm with eleven offices across the North West, proudly announces the addition of four newly qualified solicitors to its team. Following successful training periods, Paige Lester, Emelia Forde, Sophie Nicholson, and Grant Redburn will contribute their skills across various teams and offices within the firm.

All four solicitors completed their training contracts with Butcher & Barlow, a firm consistently recognised in the Legal 500 as one of the top law firms in the region. Emelia Forde, a law graduate from the University of Law, Leeds, expressed her pride in becoming a qualified solicitor, highlighting the invaluable support provided by Butcher & Barlow throughout her training.

The firm emphasises talent development and career nurturing, as evidenced by its management team, all of whom began their legal journey as trainee solicitors within the firm. Anthony Higham, Managing Partner and Notary Public, emphasised the firm's commitment to providing trainees with a diverse caseload and early responsibility, shaping them into well-rounded professionals.

Grant Redburn, specialising in dispute resolution, took a unique path to the legal profession, graduating from Edge Hill University in 2013 and working in various law firms before completing his LPC at the University of Law in Manchester. Grant expressed his satisfaction in becoming a solicitor after years of dedication and family support during his studies.

Each of the newly qualified solicitors will continue their careers with Butcher & Barlow, contributing to different teams across various offices. Sophie Nicholson will work in the Wills, Trusts, and Estates Team at the Leigh office, while Paige Lester and Emelia Forde will contribute to Commercial Property and the Commercial Property Dispute Resolution Team at Gadbrook Park, Bramhall, and Sutton Weaver offices. Grant Redburn will specialise in the Dispute Resolution Team at the Sutton Weaver office.
