Brighton firm to fund law students from lower socio-economic or black and black-mixed heritage backgrounds
Brighton firm Family Law Partners has announced a fund to support six students from lower socio-economic or black and black-mixed heritage backgrounds to study law at the University of Brighton. The students will be economically supported and mentored throughout their studies. Founding directors, Robert Williams and Alan Larkin, said the firm is “passionate” about “nurturing legal talent” to ensure “the public is served by lawyers from diverse backgrounds and cultures”, not just those “fortunate enough to have the financial means to study law”.
