BCLP Announces Changes to Leadership Team

These moves reflect BCLP’s continued emphasis on establishing an experienced, diverse, and geographically balanced leadership team to guide the firm into 2024 and beyond

Following the recent elections of Global CEO Steve Baumer and Global Senior Partner Segun Osuntokun, international law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) announced today the appointment of several new members to its leadership team:

  • Carol Osborne, Global Department Leader, Corporate & Finance Transactions
  • Nazir Dewji, Global Department Leader, Real Estate
  • Joel Lander, Regional Leader, Corporate & Finance Transactions

BCLP also announced today that Chris de Pury, most recently the Global Department Leader for Real Estate and instrumental in building what is today one of the world’s preeminent global real estate practices, has been appointed Head of the firm’s Strategic Growth Team.

In this newly created role, Chris will work closely with incoming CEO Steve Baumer, and the wider leadership team, to drive growth opportunities and the implementation of strategic initiatives key to the firm’s future success. At the same time, Chris will continue to practice and lead on real estate work on behalf of clients.

BCLP’s leadership team will be instrumental in building on the firm’s recent momentum, which includes the addition of a 15-person, market-leading IP and Corporate team from Dentons, the launch of a new office in Seattle, and the arrival of more than 25 lateral partners around the globe.
