ANTI-BULLYING

By Nicola Laver
An anti-bullying and harassment tool was launched in late September by the Bar Council. Talk to Spot will allow lawyers to talk through and record contemporaneously inappropriate moments at work. The report will remain unseen unless the complainant decides to send it to their chambers, their employer, the Bar Council or other bodies. Bar Council chair, Richard Atkins QC, said the app was an 'innovative use of technology which will allow barristers to report any inappropriate behaviour they experience, quickly and anonymously'. 9 September 2019
