QCS Five solicitor advocates have made it to Queen's Counsel in the latest round of QC appointments. All partners at their respective firm, the five appointees are Amanda Brown of KPMG Law; Daniel Gal of Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom; Jeffrey Sullivan of Gibson Dunn & Crutche; Ryland Thomas of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer; and Duncan Watson, who is based at the Hong Kong office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan. A sixth newly appointed QC was a solicitor at the time of application but is now practicing at the bar. 17 December 2020
