Charles has a well-established general Private Client practice, advising individuals, families, trustees and executors, with an emphasis on complex lifetime tax and succession planning, often with an international element. He also provides specialist advice on the tax and succession planning issues that arise around landed estates and inherited wealth, and his experience in this area includes acting for some of the most significant landed estates by size and value in the country. He is recommended by both Spears and Legal 500 for his expertise in tax, trusts, probate and succession planning, and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
