Tim has always been interested in people and how building solid business relationships are the key to continued success. He has had a variety of business roles creating, building and maintaining business relationships and especially with membership organisations. Tim started his own travel consultancy company when I was 21 and has always maintained an entrepreneurial outlook to business. He enjoyed many years working as a volunteer in the charity sector helping to build visibility and credibility for a lifesaving emergency blood transport and response organisation, now working with hospitals across the country and with the Air Ambulance - granted the Queen's Award for voluntary service. He continues in various voluntary charity roles as a Trustee. For the last 26 years Tim has been mainly involved in membership organisations and charities, including helping to introduce BNI; the worlds largest business referral organisation, into countries such as Malaysia, Spain, Vietnam and South Korea and helping in the design, realisation and roll out of a bespoke worldwide IT system. As CEO of an Accredited Chamber with the British Chambers of Commerce, he represented private sector business to local and national government and got involved in the debate on behalf of business, small and large, promoting the UK Chambers of Commerce business manifesto. Tim is a Member of the Chartered Management Institute and Fellow of the RSA (The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.) Where world-leading ideas are turned into world-changing actions. We are committed to a world that is resilient, rebalanced and regenerative, where everyone can fulfil their potential. Tim now heads up The Institute of Legal Finance & Management one of the UK's leading membership organisations in the legal sector. "ILFM is a well-respected and highly effective organisation with people at it's heart; I want to use my experience to continually add value to members and building profile of the organisation. I'm very keen on collaboration, and think that it is a very positive and forward looking way to work in partnership with others. I will also look to develop partnerships with many other organisations to further raise profile and add more value to our members."
