The inaugural master of the rolls, Sir Geoffrey Vos, has set out his vision for civil justice reform which would see claimants start all claims online, creating a ‘single transferrable data set’ before entering a digital court process, the Law Society Gazette reported. Sir Vos said: “As head of civil justice I will be able to establish a direction of travel for an online justice system’. But he acknowledged there will be larger or more intractable problems” that will still require lawyers.
