At a time when most legal software suppliers are still
reeling from what has been termed the ‘Y2K recession’
Solicitec has announced
that the last six months have been the most successful since the company's
inception in 1985. Solicitec believes that the traditional use of case
management systems has widened
with greater adoption in 'low-value high-volume'
practice areas
such as commercial property
and that almost all e-commerce
implementations have been directed at B2B rather than B2C applications.
Solicitec has also been voted one of the 50 fastest growing technology companies
in the Deloitte & Touche Northern Technology Fast 50 programme.

Surrey firm
Copley Clark &
Bennett
has become the latest UK law firm to outsource its entire IT systems
and services. The nine-partner firm has awarded an initial three year contract
to Ramesys Professional Services. 
Ramesys will also be supplying advice on future system
enhancements.

Keoghs has placed an order with
Axxia Systems that will see the Greater Manchester firm rolling out Axxia’s Case
Manager product to over 300 fee earners and support staff.

Norton Rose has chosen the Afaria
system from XcellNet Inc as the basis for its new mobile systems management
solution.
