Pinsent Curtis and Biddle merge

Pinsent Curtis has merged with mid-sized city firm Biddle to form Pinsent
Curtis Biddle.

Both firms have a strong focus on technology as well as
Biddle’s position in media and book publishing.

The move is in line with the convergence taking place in the
technology and media sectors, where mergers between systems providers and
content are increasingly common.

The teams will join forces to create the Technology and Media
Group.

Martin Lane, managing partner of Biddle, who will become the
London managing partner of the new firm said the merger with Pinsent Curtis
“fits well with our strategic objective of focused growth in our key areas of
corporate, media, pensions an employment.”
