Rawlison Butler has
appointed its head of corporate and commercial, Tim Sadka, as managing
partner. Sadka takes over from outgoing managing partner, Clive Prior, who held
the role for three years.

Morgan Stanley has poached
litigation partner Maryann McMahon from Clifford Chance. Her new role
will be head of litigation for UK and Europe.

Nick Jarrett-Kerr is
leaving Bevan Ashford to set up his own management consultancy targeted
at professional services firms. He has been a partner with the firm for 24 years
and was chairman and CEO of Bristol, Birmingham and London ofr eight years.

Garretts property head Keith
Barnett has already announced he is to leave for Taylor Joynson
Garrett, along with five assistants. Garretts is to formally close at the
end of the month, while Andersen Legal is negotiating to transfer its remaining
lawyers to other firms.

IT partner, Christopher
Millard, will be joining Linklaters following a  career-long association with Clifford
chance.

Newly merged Weightman
Vizards has brought in professional indemnity partner John Bennett
from Reynolds Porter Chamberlain.

Guy Abbiss is to join Lewis Silkin
as head of employee benefits. He joins the firm from
Klegal.

Theordore Goddard
has appointed
Keir Barrie from the London office of US firm Buchanan Ingersoll where he
was managing partner and head of private equity.

Paul Lee has been re-elected as senior
partner of Addleshaw Booth & Co for an
as-yet undecided
term.

Lima
Buckley has replaced William Downs as managing partner of Hammonds
Suddards Edge’s Manchester office. Tracy Fisher also
joins the firm from Lovells as a partner in the tax strategies unit.
