Nicholson Graham & Jones acted for the sellers of Taylor Young Investment
Management Limited in relation to a partial share sale to, and strategic
alliance with, Gaileo Investment Holdings Limited, a newly established joint
venture company owned by Alpha Trust Investment Services S.A, a Greek investment
management company, and Audley Twiston-Davies, formally of Foreign &
Colonial. Corporate partner Richard Herbert led the Nicholson Graham & Jones
team that included Philip Morgan, Owen Waft, Michael Jacobs, Carole Cook and
David Miller. Richard Herbert said: "This was a complicated transaction which
was finally brought to a conclusion to the satisfaction of all concerned."
Simmons & Simmons’ Richard Slater and Selina Sagayam advised Alpha Trust
Investment Services S.A. and Norton Rose’s Cathy Olgeirsson acted for Audley
Twiston-Davies.Nicholson Graham & Jones also acted for Henderson Global
Investors and Pearl Assurance Plc in relation to the admission of Hammerson Plc
to the existing partnership between Pearl and Greycoat in respect of Moor House
and the partnership's proposals to proceed with the redevelopment of the Moor
House site. Corporate Partner Ian Green led the Nicholson Graham & Jones
team that principally consisted of Philip Morgan, Richard Smith, Richard
Woolich, Andrew Besser and Kevin Greene. The redevelopment of the site at London
Wall, London EC2, has now commenced and is expected to create over 300,000
square feet of office space. Ian Green said: "From a structuring point of view,
this has been an extremely complex project and we are delighted that it has
reached a successful conclusion."
